I have been drawn to and fascinated by watercolor for 20 years.
My style of painting is bold and direct. I feel the energy from this alla prima approach is reflected in my work. Most of my paint mixes on the paper and not in the palette, creating a more luminous effect. Breakthroughs have happened in my paintings by learning how to truly "see" and simplify. Over the years, shapes, edges and color have become more important to me than subject matter.

________________________________All the prints for sale on this site are signed and numbered. They are either litho or gicleé prints, unframed.
- Litho
Print: Short for "lithography", it is standard four-color
printing using non-fading inks, printed on acid-free papers. Edition
sizes for litho prints are usually higher.
- Gicleé
Print: (pronounced zhee-clay) High-quality prints made on a six-color
ink jet printer. Produces a very precise image with archival inks
on a thicker paperstock. The acid-free papers are much closer to the
paper the original was painted on. Edition sizes are usually lower
than a litho print.
